    Hi there,
Just wondering if you can give me any pointers as to where the fault might be with my Hoover New Wave 5 Plus WN146-001.
When I power it on and turn the program knob nothing happens. The digital read out displays 0 and I cannot start a program.

At power up I hear a small sound for a second which I think was normal and then if I open the door the digital display changes to show door is open. But after closing and turning program knob display still shows 0.

Water supply to machine looks ok and I lowered waste pipe and some water came out so I guess that isnt blocked ? 🙁
Thanks for any help you can give.
    Cheers,
    Dave

The dial operates a microswitch via a toothed wheel. The computer should count the pulses and programme accordingly. Either the switch mechanism is not working correctly cheap), or the computer is no longer responding (expensive).

Power off if you are going to investigate, check the repairs@ link if you’ve no idea what I’m talking about 😀 .

    Regards,
