    Hi Guys I’m trying to repair a Hoover HNMF4507AAT-80 F/F that is overfreezing in the fridge.The thermistor is reading about 1300 ohms at approx 20C.I have read in some previous forums that the PCB board has been replaced to no avail & that the fault may lie with the thermistor but if you are lucky you may get the tech info with the part.Am I right in assuming that the position of the thermistor may have changed.Thanks Mack.

    Resistance is way out on the thermistor,not sure of the exact value on that model but would be 15-20kh normally.

    thanks for the reply.do most fridges or freezers have the same types of thermistors & if so is a chart resistance/temp available.I’ve downloaded a few from the web but they all seem to have different values.ie at 20C 2.2k 3.3k & 6.2k.can you enlighten me.thanks Mack.
