Hoover nextra 8 condenser cuts out after little while

I have a hoover nextra 8 condenser tumble drier it stops working after a little while, the start light starts to flash you can only restart it by powering on and off, and then sometimes the drum starts to turn and then it does the same again, is it the thermostat on the heater

It may be the relay? Though it would be better if you give us the full model number and product number of the machine in question. 😉
