Ive been asked to look at a friends Hoover Nextra HNC375T which is not generating any heat.
Ive checked at the back of the machine where theres a blue spot thermostat on the right which is NOT open circuit and a square shaped looking device similar to a thermostat on the left – this is open circuit.
    Both are linked in series.

Ive also cleared countless piles of fluff from the filter and condensor unit.

Ive tried to find a stat kit on the whitegoods spares site but no joy?
Does anyone know if the square unit is a stat or thermistor? and can they be purchased without the heater assembly?
…or any other thoughts of a cure?

    is what you need
please ignore all the other threads suggesting soldering a 5p thing on from maplins, the only safe solution is to change the element.. hope this helps
