I have already had the problem with cold air, which i managed to sort out,but now the dryer wont work at all. When i select dryer program, the timelight panel goes to 15 mins no matter which setting i use, it makes a funny noise first like its selecting the desired program, then it completely stops like the program has ended. i have absolutely no problems with the washer side of it. any help would be greatly appreciated, in lamens terms of course,
thanks in advance, peed off busy mum.

Hi Pee’d off busy mum :o)

WOW, we’re like 2 peas in a pod.

Sometimes I have to start the drying program 4 or 5 times for it to work. It clicks and humms for a while then clicks again and stops. I know if it has started OK when the red “drying” light above the dial is lit.

Anyway, that I can live with (well, sort of). Mine keeps cutting out and blowing out cold air. I’ve had the lid off and pushed the reset switch. It clicks down, then blows hot again. It keeps need resetting though. What was your problem? I’ve removed the metal flow pipe where the switch sits and its clean inside.

Just wondered if you could shed any light?

    Sorry to go on………

The plastic condenser housing across the back of the drum will be choked with fluff and needs cleaning out.

Power off if you plan to do this yourself.

Woohoo. It works. Bit of a fiddle getting it out, but managed OK. Cleaned it out at work with compressed air, the amount of fluff and tissue that came out of it.

The dryer comes on straight away now. It used to hesitate sometimes but now its “spot on”.

    Thanks for your help.
