I washed a washable mat earlier on today and it appears that it wasnt as washable as it should have been. The rubber backing has disintegrated and started falling off during the wash cycle. It didnt finish the cycle properly and I dont think it drained and spun. I cleaned out the bits of rubber from the drum and removed what I think is the filter at the front where loads of water and bits of rubber came out. I then put another wash on to see if it was ok. Its not. It didnt drain and spin properly again. Took the thing out that I think is the filter again more water and bits of rubber came out. There must be loads of bits of rubber in there. Anybody know how I get it all out? And where I get it all out from?

    Thanks,

    Julie.

You will have to remove the sump hose from the bottom of the drum. That will be full of rubber. Power off before going in and be prepared for some water spillage when the hose comes off.
