Hl1572d3. Had a look at one of these today . Have never had a lot to do with them. Customers are not tech savvy and dont use any of the extra features on it. Turn the dial to any program and the spin speed indicator goes through all the different speeds continually without touching it and bleeps with every move. I may be wrong but it seems to follow a set pattern where it slows down stops and starts again.

if its not contamination on the touch sensor then it sounds like a board problem
