Had a look at a no start fault on this machine. Board has failed. Badly burnt out. Had a look at brushes and what I found was 2 filed down brushes. One was roughly the right shape. The second was straight across with no slope. Customer purchased this machine recently from a discount shop. Was told the machine was new. The rating plate has a sticker with a number on it covering the original commercial code. Would this machine have been a reject originally.

Probably a graded appliance but also could have been an ex Brighthouse appliance.If the latter then you can guarantee that it wasn’t looked after and run into the ground.
