Hoover OPH714D/1-80

    Went to this one today, no pump action. Removed pump to find windings burnt out. Replaced with askoll pump.
    Now machine fills and empties at same time. Module i suspect. Did pump make module fail or did module keep power to pump? Does module come programmed or does it need to be written with hoover software? Is this a common fault on this model machine?

    hi Geoff,

    pump gets jammed burns out the winding which then goes short circuit this then overloads the triac on the coreboard which the goes pop and leaves a perminent suppy to the pump.

    coreboard part no. 41026074 not programmed, 49015449 programmed.
