    Hi,

I’ve moved back into my old apartment and the washing machine is on the blink.

Initially I was getting E016 – the machine wasn’t heating up so I’ve taken out the element, cleaned it up and put it back. The machine does now heat up but fails towards the end of the programme (prior to spinning) with E03. The filter is clear and the machine does drain fine as I’ve already tested that by putting the drain into a bucket and going through a rinse cycle.

Any ideas? I’m going to turn it upside down tonight and check around the drain pump.

Pump faulty or pump triac on PCB blown?

That would be an idiotic thing to do. Lay it back by 45 degs to get at the pump is all that’s required.
