My aging OPH714DS has developed the flashing door lock/not starting fault. I’ve replaced the door lock to no avail, so assuming its the pcb.
(- is there anything else it could be?)

the numbers on the pcb are:
    5594ck
    4R
    31002670
    Invensys

Looking around there are many variations on this part. The number 5594ck seems to vary as -cl/cf/cd etc – is this important?
    – I’m assuming 31002670 is the important one to match, am I right? is there a later compatible part or is this the only number that will work?

    Cheers for any help/advice..

just had exactly the same fault

upon investigating the main prog module i found a break in the track where it had blown. its hard to see as its only a 5mm break. the cause of this was traced to a blown motor board rectifier in the white box at the bottom of the machine

That’s interesting- any signs of a problem before ?
    – I’m reluctant to try my new pcb now..
How did you find the fault?
    – my pcb has a burnt out track by the main input and a very black area in the middle…

    had similar things before.

the big black block on this board is a bridge rectifier. these are easily tested with a multimeter. there will be plenty info on the net on how to test it
