Anyone with any clue how to fix this? My washing machine (about two years old) seems to have come unprogrammed, somehow. Two examples, the 33 min cycle has stopped working altogether; and if I turn the dial to ‘SPIN’, start the cycle, and water comes flooding through the detergent drawer just as it would at the start of any wash cycle. There’s no indication of what cycle it IS running – only that it’s NOT running the cycle I’ve selected with the dial!

    V. frustrating. Of course it has just started doing this within weeks of being out of warranty.

behind the knob you turn to programme the machine is a small switch. when they go faulty you get all the wrong programmes

its a cheap part and an easy fix
