Hoover optima oph714d

Hi
Just at a Hoover optima that is allowing the door to lock.

All display is ok and can set programmes fine.

But machine just sits there with the door lock led flashing away .

No flashing lights .

Any idears ?

The Door Interlocks (Pt No: 41016879) are a regular fault on these machines. But I would take a close look at the main module just in case the interlock has blown the triac on the board?

Yup. I concur, had a couple doing the same, door switch and board rectified it.

Hi guys
Thank you for your replies .
I do keep the door lock in stock so was going to fit it on my return visit .
I have already ordered a new mod £29 plus vat , not a bad price I thought .
Will post when I have fitted them ,just to update post .

Hi guys

I fitted a new pcb today also a new door interlock.

On removal of old pcb you could see a couple of blast marks.

Machine now working fine .
