    Can anyone help me please,hoover optima WMH 168d, stopped working and showed error code EO1 (door lock)with the lock red light flashing. I’ve changed the interlock (new one)and checked the brushes, their ok, the red light has stopped flashing. Close the door and door lock light turns red but not locked. set any program press start, front panel shows program, nothing happens and after a minute EO1 comes up again.

    Check the interlock wiring is OK. Check the circuit board for potential door interlock triac failure. Check wiring between circuit board and interlock.

    Is the circuit board at the bottom opposite the pump?

    Had the board out am I right it’s the PCB rectifier? There were some lengths of the pcb damaged looked like a short so I’ve bridged them and the machine is now showing EO9, replace the rectifier or has something caused this to go?

    E:09 refers to the motor triac on the PCB. The motor would be the obvious cause.

    I have replaced the motor and still not working, showed once E09 so turned off washer and put to another program and now shows E01 again, could this be the PCB has gone too?

    Machine now will not spin when loaded but does when empty, any ideas please.
