    Is it me or is it a common fault that when I unblock or check the filters on these machines that they wont reseal and I have to ‘cowboy’ the seal with silicone sealant to stop them flooding (not just dripping).I had a word with another engineer today and he said that he had problems with these as well.I think that these are poor machines – I’d rather have a chinese.

    I have found it is very easy to cross thread the filter on these. To avoid this, I turn the thread anti-clockwise until it firmly clicks and then clockwise to engage the correct thread.

    i normally take the handle part off, put the filter in then screw the handle on. they are terrible for leaking i tell my customers never to remove them.
