hi hope this is in the right forum.. i needed a main oven selector switch for a hoover double oven HDO909x
    33701193 13440034
i ordered it directly from hoover they sent me pt 42814656
unfortunately it’s different to the original and won’t fit contracted them said there’s another switch
pt 91204784 but this is almost identical to the first and won’t fit either.. original looks completely different and has a connection block to attach.. any help appreciated.. thanks

Not that sure but the code 33701193 brings up two models, one Forno Inferiore the other Forno Superiore.

The selector switch for the Superiore is different to either of the ones you have listed and it is a 41003026 as far as I can see.

This is a picture of it, looks just like the other one though?

Can only see one model number on that plate, the 1344 number is a date code.

Can’t see any mention of an alternative switch/wiring in the tech bulletins either. 🙁

yea it says hdo909x and hdo906x on that plate.. yes i stupidly put my finger over that no but it starts with the one they sent 91204.. probably end up having a hoover engineer

    Re: hoover oven

have you looked at the switches closely?

do the units have numbers on the terminals that match up ?

maybe a case of cutting wires to multiplug and putting separate terminal on

if it was me I would remove old switch and use a multimeter to find out which contacts open and close and do the other switched match. I assume you have both options to try this
