    Hello, my Hoover Performa 1100 ac110 keeps stopping mid cycle, especially between 4 and 5 on 40 degrees wash. It also doesn’t seem to get very hot even on 90 degrees. We’ve had it taken away to be fixed twice now and each time it’s brought back they say it’s fixed. We don’t actually have much hot water coming from our house taps at the moment because of a different problem, could this be making the washing machine stop?

    Any help would be great as it’s starting to drive me mad.

    Cheers.

    When it stops between 4 and 5 what happens if you click the timer on a step or two? Does it complete the cycle? Or does it stick again?

    If it completes the cycle, when clicked on, I would say it is stopping because the water hasn’t heated up to the correct temperature in time?

    No. 4 is a cold fill only cycle anyway so the hot pressure won’t effect it.

    Unplug machine if you are going to remove any panels.

    Hey thanks for the reply. Yes, it carries on if you push it forward one or two clicks. Is there anything I can do to fix it because the people in the repair shop obviously keep missing it? What would be looking for inside?

    Again, anything you can suggest would be great.

    What have you supposedly had done to it to date?

    Possible faults;

    heater.
    thermostat.
    wiring.
    timer.

    Difficult to take you any further with it.

    Remember unplug machine if taking any panels off!!!!

    I’m not sure what they’ve done to it to be honest, they just say they fixed it. Is there anyway I can check those possible faults? For instance, where is the heater and the thermostat located?

    Thanks again.
