Hoover Performa 1100 WA 110-001 Washer/Drier Control Dial

This may be a really dumb question but I have to ask it! The numbers and markings on the control dial of my Hoover Performa 1100 (WA 110-001) Washer/Drier have rubbed off (it is probably about 11 years old and still running well). Any suggestions what I can do? Thanks

The timer control knob still looks like its available so you could order the new one from Hoover and see if you can allign and mark you old knob with a permanent pen the programmes you want.

Or get the knob from Hoover and call a local repairer in to change it.

Thanks for your suggestion – but it is not the timer control that I need – it’s the programme dial! Any other suggestions?

why get someone to fit it – it pulls off with a pair of pliers, and only fits one way

its only a knob cover required!

Timer control KNOB is the same as the programme dial.

Where I wrote ‘timer control knob’ insert ‘programme dial.’

Where I wrote ‘knob’ insert ‘control dial.’

Whatever you want to call it the result can still be the same!!!!

Well – excuse my STUPIDITY!!!! Crikey – I just wanted some advice – I looked on the Hoover website and coukld only find the timer dial for the drier – that’s ok on my machine – there was no programme dial (and there were pictures to prove it!!!)

In the morning give Hoover a call, 01204 556111, and they will advise you whether the part is available or not.

If it is do as previously mentioned.

Sorry for any anguish caused. I just can’t see what other advice you could of been given.

Knob with lettering which fits on front of timer – p/no 03841263. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly.

Thanks for your help, particularly penguin – I have emailed whitegoods and trust that I’ll get what I’m looking for.

I’d also like to say that although some people think that sarcasm is very clever, it can very often just be rude – remember you catch more flies with honey than vinegar!!! 😆
