Hoover Performa AC110 – 001 does not wash

I have a Hoover AC110 – 001 Washing Machine. It fills OK but then does nothing for the rest of that part of the cycle. It will empty, rinse and spin as normal but at the end of the cycle the clothes are not properly washed and are covered in soap crystals.

This seems to have been a problem since I replaced the hose to the air pressure switch. I’ve checked the electrical connections but I don’t think I’ve knocked anything loose.

Please help.

The spin cycle runs fine so I haven’t checked the brush’s

plug out first,
i would probably still check the brushes if it doesnt turn at all on wash it is more likely to be the timer. soldered joints on the circuit board can cause machine to spin but not wash.
