    Good evening,

I’m sure plenty of you chaps have experienced the above w/m boiling water.

I have electrically tested the suspect thermistor, and obtained a reading of 34.7 Meg Ohms on the 200K scale, and the heater unit too, which gave a similar reading on a lower scale.

Should one purely replace the thermistor (should carry several for future reference) and test, or is it likely that the heater will be damaged too?

Yes, I realise I should probably also remove the heater and inspect, but it is rather tight.
Or should I recommend a new heater too, as will possibly damage removing.

I am also aware that the electronic control module may also be the cause, but unsure how to test these, and would appreciate some advice.

    Best wishes,

    jontymox
