Hoover SE 234 – 80

    My two year old grandson has just posted a car into the soap despenser draw – :boops: :boops: when I pulled out drawer car vanished down a hole on the left…what (if any)grief is this going to give me?

    You will need to remove it.Unplug the machine and remove the top.The “hole” will be a rubber hose that leads down to the drum.There is a chance that any object may jam the drum.If the car has already got into the outer drum you may have to call someone to remove the toy.

    ooh no, hang on, thats easily sorted

    open the door, take off the band round the door seal and peel it back.. the black hose is attatched to the tub.. luckily, its u-shaped so if you pull it off the car should be in there

    This takes me back many ( many ) years.. 🙂

    Called out to an old Hotpoint twin tub, customer said she had one or two items down the side of the spin drum.

    Turns out her son had been pushing his toy car around the top of the can and it fell down the side. She tried to fish it out with a wooden spoon and dropped that into the drum, she then got a torch to have a look down the side and the top of the torch and both batteries also fell down the side of the spin drum. This was an old style 1400 machine so the cabinet had to come off to get all the objects out. :mrgreen:
