Could anyone supply part no for:

(7.5 kg job)

Pump assembly and filter (pump is ok)
Paddle – and let me know if you can fit this through the sump?

How anyone can use a machine for so long with out the paddle is a mystery…

For some reason not listed on my normal suppliers sites.

Hi

I can supply you the part numbers for you 😉

Pump and filter housing 49007894, the drum paddle is 41021913.

Hopefully someone will be able to advise on the paddle fitting for you.

Added Hoover to the title of the thread to help any future readers.

If you lie the machine on it’s side and take the sump hose off you can get the screws in. Job Done.

the paddle just clips on like the hotpoint ones no screws.

:boops: You are right I should of double checked my facts not gone from memory it is the release tab that can be accessed from the sump hole:-
each Drum Paddle can become accessible through the Tank’s drain hole, after having removed the rubber Drain Pipe. Then, manually rotate the Drum to make the Paddle coincide with the drain hole. Next, with a flat screw driver, lift the metal tongue that holds the Paddle in position. After having lifted the Drum’s metal tongue, from inside the drum push the old Paddle in the sense of the arrow in order to remove the old paddle from it’s housings. Operate in reverse order, to fit the new spare Paddle.

Thanks for the replies gents. It was just looking at the paddle it looked like it had two screw holes and I had visions of having to drill holes to plug later.

I didn’t have remove any, just replace a missing one However, the new one slipped in andI bent the metal lip to hold it in place, accessed from the sump hose hole 😀 easy peasey.

Thank god for that as the machine was in a red hot untility room and I was working in shorts stripped down to the waist. I couldn’t even wedge the door open as there were two little terriers outside just wainting to get in and attack me whilst prone on the floor…. 😀

All fine but as I put all my tools away back in my car, while doing the wet test. I came back to a small puddle on the floor…tiny, tiny pin prick hole on the drain hose elblow coming from the pump…. 👿 Just what you need at 4pm on a Friday…
