Hoover SE264-80 – Module

    Hi all, I have got the above model that is toally dead, I have got 240v to m/c so I am assuming module? I havehad a look at it and there are no dry joints etc, connections are fine.I dont do a lot of Hoover so any advice would be appreciated, part number would be nice to! Chears all in advance.

    hoover part number is 09200351 connect 31000830 thats a pre programed pcb , plug and play lol ..

    Don’t assume too much in that it could simply be that the door interlock is faulty? Do take a real close look at the surface mounted components of the module for damage of course and by all means. The 5 triacs especially need careful examination and can lead you direct to the source of the fault….perhaps?

    Thanks for the advice, after a bit of TLC on the pcb & connections I have got it running, however it is not playing ball completeley! It now stops after around 10 mins on each cycle except the boil wash were it is dead, doent want to know. I have checked the element isnt down to Earth, checked stat – A/OK. Door lock I replaced anyway, still the same??

    Hot Valve? Timer dial jammed with coffee stains?…..just a thought or 3 😉

    I checked the hot valve, thats ok. I will check the timer for stains though.. thanks martin.
