Hoover selector switch?

Model HSWD146, sadly the rating plate is totally blank.

It appears that there are two different 22 position selector switches for these.
41003735 switch end 0551
41014503 switch begin 0551

No idea if that 0551 is part of the serial number, dragged the machine out and the only number I could find on the back was on the barcode label as follows.
3100108305200059

Can anyone identify the correct part number from that. ❓

Looking at the pictures on qualtex. 41003735 is shown as a motorised selector. Whereas the other isn’t.

Im sure the selector itself will have the part number on it.
If I was a betting man I would go for 41014503. Its the one I carry in the van so must be the most common.

You have all heard of ‘Sods Law’, well I am the unlucky Sod it was written for.

You can have one guess as to which selector switch it needed. 🙁

At least it was the cause of the fault so all aorted now. 😀
