    Hi There

    My question relates to a Hoover Soft Wave 1100 washer/Dryer

    The machine has been stored for the past eighteen months and only reconnected/plumbed in today.

    Intially the machine fired up okay and appeared to do a normal cycle fine, but a larger load has shown the leveling wasn’t quite right and the machine shook badly on the final spin.

    It doesn’t want to do anything now, the external fusing is okay.

    Before I start pulling the m/c apart and attacking it with my meter (I am a qualified electrician). Is there anything obvious I should be looking for that would cause a total failure after such a situation ?

    I would be greatful for any advice

    The exact model number would be handy Stewart, without that I guess it is a door lock/interlock problem perhaps?

    I should have had that handy but the ladies out right now (next door neighbour ! The things you do for love eh !)
