Here’s one for all you ex GIAS agents
Machine is eight years old and belongs to a friend has suddenly developed a strange fault ,When you place the softener in the pot at the start of the cycle ,Water dribbles down the front through the soap drawer facia I have adjusted the feet this seemed to cure it ,but now its leaking again
Any help gratefully recieved

Syphon blocked Lawrence? But I’m guessing you’ve checked that.

The other thing we used to get up here was water pressure problems. In areas of high pressure the soap drawer couldn’t cope and overflowed on taking softener so I cut an approx 2-3mm deep, 15mm long section out the softener divider to the soap compartment to allow the excess to overflow through that.

Must have worked, never got a recall. 😉

There is a modified dispenser for these wonderfull appliances, try 09090275.

Also Check the inlet hole, it clogs up with scale.

Pull out the drawer and get the big long Philips (You know, the one for doing logic door seals) and twiddle it around the 3 inlets, that usually sorts it out, if not then the new dispenser is the best way forward.

u can get a water restrictor which fits inside valve, from memory a spare comes with a dispenser kit .
