not spinning fast on fast spin.

has the adjustable motor position on the tub ala alternators on cars.
just wondered if belt slippage was a known issue on these, as it wouldnt spin fast on fast spin prog so was worried might have been timer, but as part of the course took off motor, checked carbons (half worn) and refitted motor with an extra 10mm of distance from pulley.

spun like hell on fast spin (and sounds like an angle grinder too)

owner is family friend so havent charged for repair yet, and they havent said it hasnt cured the problem either so hoping all is well, im just interested for future reference rather than assuming it that slippage was the case.

used 2 work 4 hoover……..i would agree, its the timer/module…they did update these for a later version which requires a wiring change included in the kit
