Hoover TC650 – Diagnosis confirmation

Hi,

My Hoover TC650 has the common “Filter Care” light problem and upon removing the back there’s not much electronically to go wrong, just the heater unit with what I guess is the thermal trip.

I take it the only thing to do is replace the heater unit and all will be well?

This started after the filter got clogged when one of the wife’s fluffy cardigans disintegrated 🙄 I’ve de-fluffed everything but still no joy.

The cut-out has been modified on the new heater to try and improve reliability.
