Hoover TD help

Hi, I dont do Hoover, but a friend asked me to look at his HVH180-80 tumble drier.
There are two stats in the front one is o/c it is rated L85C so I suppose it is and 85 degree n/c stat which has gone, now this model has no parts listed on connect, I have tried a couple of other places but dont know if I have the correct stat, so could someone help me with a part number please?

yep, its on connect but they only have a knob bezel listed, I have checked it a couple of times

If you put it into google it comes up with a list of places to purchase one.

Not in my Google it doesn’t.

HVH180-80 entered into Google brings up loads of rubbish here. 🙁

RS and others sell generic stats if it’s a simple Klixon type. You can also find them on ebay. They often come from China; as the machine may also :rolls: .

HOWEVER….
If you enter VHV180-80 you do get loads of hits for Hoover tumble dryers. :rolls: 😆

Stat is a 40001878, TOC is 40001753.
