The drum has stopped working on the above washing machine and i wondering what my options are on what it could be?

The washing machine fills and enpty`s of water as normal just no spin action whatsoever.

I have checked the belt and motor brushes, which seem in good shape, there is no smell of burning and the drum turns freely when i turn it by hand.

Im guessing its a PCB problem but how can i be sure?

    Thanks in advance…

Nothing to be found with that model number. Please re-check – better still post up the product number – the one that starts with 3——

    Sorry about that!

The only other number I can see on the machine is : 3100000502200402,
its on a sticky label on the back.

If this isnt it, on which part of the machine will I find the number?

    Many thanks

Somewhat later than anticipated (wedding anniversary)……..

Timer/selector machine with computer board at the top. If you are sure that the motor is fine and that you have continuity from the board to the motor, I’d be looking at the pcb itself. I have had a few recently where relay joints on the board have burnt out – soldering iron and a reinforcing wire have sorted them.

If there is no visible evidence, the pcb its.elf may have failed.

Power off if you intend to do this yourself.
