You should have 40001754 – pcb (programmed).

Although you may have ordered the correct programmed version of the board it may not actually be programmed, believe it or not! That happened to me a couple of weeks back.

If it came unprogrammed, how did you get over it. Did you send it back or can it be programmed on site ?

thanks to peagasus for your reply. Called today with another board, still no joy. Lights come on and cycle thru a sequence when you push start button but nothing else. Refit original board and everything works ( except heater, original fault) Seems quite obvious this board needs configuring but no info or way to do it ! Very annoying if these boards are sold as configured !. Anyone else have any ideas ?

Can we just rewind as to the exact symptoms? 😕
It doesn’t heat (got that bit) but if it doesn’t start (i.e dead) then nowt is occurin’ anyway. 😕
So, hows the door microswitch doing?(highly suspect) Selector switch? The Front stat? Float stat?
I’m not thinking circuit board at this point TBH.

Sorry if i’ve confused the issue. Original fault; machine starts and turns but no heat. Traced to no supply from pcb. Fitted new board, NOW won’t do anything except sequence thru various led displays each time you press start button ?( not related to programme so assuming conf. code or similar ). Refit original board, machine reverts to original fault.

the pcb should be configered but you do get the odd one slip through that is not, if you dont have access to the hoover memloader then its another pcb im afriad.

I was afraid of that. This was the second board, can’t afford to lose any more money on this job !
