Hoover tumble dryer DXC9TC9-80

Customer reported she sets a time ( example 1:29) it will run until 52 minutes then stops and the 52 flashes. She can press start and the dryer runs until 47 minutes. This continues until 0 time. She says the clothes dry.
Anyone had this problem. Thanks in advance.

my first checks would be door switch. open door and see if display flashes

Hi Dave, what do you mean possible moisure in case?

drum seals allowing damp hot air to get into the case which will condense on the board and other components
