KeymasterHi,
My tumble dryer will not stay running when the start button is pressed. I get a buzzing noise, the drum turns and heat is working but stops when the start button is released.
Any help would be great!

ParticipantProbably failure of the small electronic board behind the control panel. Pressing start should activate run relay on the board. Replacement only option.
If you’re not sure of what you’re doing, leave your postcode, and we’ll probably have a member local to you.
Whatever you do, pull the plug first!
Regards,

Cheers Penguin45
I thought it might be that relay board. i have searched spares sites but have not found anything. I will try local shop.
BTW Don’t worry, I have worked electronics 4 many years, just not domestic appliances.Cheers

Ben if you haven’t sorted by Monday, let me know I can get the board for you, it’s a fairly common part.
Just email me and I can sort for you with postage etc.
Regards.
Dave.

I can get one for you Richard.
It’s £14.80 inc VAT and postage.
Drop me an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and I’ll advise further if required.

I have the same problem with my TV30.
Would you be able to get hold of the replacement part for this model?
Cheers

Cheers, thanks for the quick repsonse!
Next question….
How would I go about fitting it? I’ve had a look at the front panel and wasn’t sure how to go about removing it or even if that is the way to go about it.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’m afraid we can’t give detailed advice on how to fit spares for legal reasons but safety first, unplug before removing the lid :zap:
