    when ever i plug my hoover tv30 tumble dryer into the mains it tripps the electric off, have checked the socket with other appliances and they work ok

    Hi

    This tripping means that there is either a dead short or an earth fault on your appliance therefore you really need to call in an engineer.
    why not try the Repairs@ link in the coloum on the left.
