If this is the way you make a modern tumble dryers these days, then I despair. Hoover TV30 must surely epitomise the direction manufacturing is going BIG TIME!

Barely 2 years old, drum shaft collapses, rubs the back support away, drum rips itself apart..THE END !!

(Shame I didn’t take my digital camera with me today as this would be a priceless iditement to the way manufacturing in Whitegoods is going!)

Todays ‘design engineers’ are big fat burger eating CAD computer technicians, skillfull only in producing quantity at a price dictated to by their bosses who only deal in margins and not quality!

Yes, you know something is seriously wrong when Hoover/Candy decide that the rear bearing should now only be supplied as a kit which includes the drum, rear heater support and associated parts and sell it at around £65 ex VAT trade 😯

Another one for the “Should’ve been a product recall” category ??

I had one as our own dryer for a while – the rear bush and the shaft cut through. Fraid it went to the tip after 14 months. Junk.

Laptop, dial-up modem, kids, parents gone to bed, what am I supposed to do? I’m a Spurs fan, so the footie on the telly was great while it lasted!

Actually, I told myself “I’ll have a look just to keep up with things”, and sure enough, I couldn’t help joining in…………

Sad, sad, sad (But my hands are getting cleaner day by day!).

Like Ken I thought you had drifted off to the Southern Hemisphere as part of Penguins Autumn migration. Some nice ice flow to set up home on, plenty of fish, clean air!!!

Instead he stays at home and watches 2 brilliant goals from Wonderboy Wayne and fantasic Frank!

Result, off to Monaco now are we?

Ha! You miss the point – I’m a Spurs fan + Arsenal lost. Honest, we’d quite happily get relegated with 6 points – so long as we get them off Arsenal!!
