😥 Any help or advice on getting my Hoover TV630 (37616307/0209/7394) Tumble dryer to work again would be gratefully recieved. It tumbles fine but fails to heat, filter care light will not go out despite immaculate filter.

    Bill,

The ‘thermal trip’ has likely blown (caused by operators not allowing the machine to run the last 10 minutes of the cycle…Cool-Down period usually) It will therefore need a new Element Assembly that includes the Thermal trip replacing 🙁

Reading about Blown thermal trip, which I believe is my problem. Is it possible to replace just this part rather than the entire heater element?

    Any help would be appreciated.

In theory yes but in practice it’s far more reliable to replace the heater as there has been improvements made to the design 😉

It’s this one in the shop should you need it:
