I have a Hoover VHC68B condensing tumble dryer (model (31100534), whish, in use gets extremely hot (clothes too hot to touch when taken out). My first thought was the thermostats would need replacing. Following a guide to test thermostats on YouTube, it would appear that the are operational, ie have continuity
Is there anything else that may be causing the issue? Filters have been cleaned.
You say you have checked heater for resistance and that’s fine there are 2 things to check 1 is the condenser unit you must be able to see through this from every angle and it is still possible that it can be blocked in the middle so that needs a good check and the other thing is the front ntc and maybe thermostat behind front panel.
