    Went to a hoover vision HD. When the selector is turned, sometimes nothing happens and sometimes all the lights on the display light up. Checked the wiring, including the connecting ribbon, fitted a brand new board, part no HVR49010509, from connections and fitted a new selector switch. No lights light up on the display, the door locks but nothing else happens. Anyone got any suggestions?

    Are the symptoms you have now exactly the same as before you changed boards etc?

    The door lock may have be the culprit and it has now damaged the new board?
