Hoover VHD 845. door light flashes

Hoover VHD 845-80
Press start- door light flashes after a minute the following lights flash
time indicator on 15 minutes
time saver
sensitive care
Stain blaster.
Tryed new door interlock. still the same.
Spin speed light is not flashing
anyone had this problem.

you need to count the flashes that will be a fault code ..

Probably the door interlock has blown the triac on the board? It’s necessary at this stage to remove and inspect the coreboard for triac type damage. With all the led’s flashing as they do it’s obvious the board is the likely source?

Under normal circumstances when a component fails or times out the error code is shown by both a spin speed and the 1st option button lights flashing together. Counting those flashes gives you the code. With all of them flashing convinces me the coreboard is up the shute. If that is the case do make careful note of the circuit that caused the failure…OK? 🙂

I could not count the flashes, no pause, just kept flashing
