Hoover VHD Washer flashing “Timer Saver + 1200 spin”

Its a Hoover VHD 8142-80 washer. It fills ok, stops (no drum motion) then
Timer Saver + 1200 spin lights flash. Doing a random search (as you do these days) came up with Carbon brushes, blocked waste pipe, or heater failure can cause this
fault message. However all those items checked out fine. And “drain” works fine.
Notes: I have not seen the motor move at all, but all motor meter readings are fine.
Customer said it happened following a power cut, although machine was not on at the time.
Any ideas/advice guys?
And is there a full chart somewhere of error messages for these VHD Hoovers?

Definitely check brushes that machine is over 10 years old now very reliable unit they where
