    Hoover VHD 8142-80
    Not spinning, distributes then starts to ramp up to and spins for 2 seconds then distributes again, after a couple of minutes machine stops with 15 minute light still on.
    Checked Pressure switch, changed brushes, connected another heater but did not fit.
    Is it the P.C.B. Do they come programmed
    Any ideas

    Had similar fault on a zanussi,
    turned out to be a loose,and badly scored Tacho coil,

    Thanks, Went back and checked Tacho magnet and wiring,all OK.
    They have decided to get a new machine.
