    This vented dryer aborts after a few mins.
    The heater is open circuit, can anyone tell me if this will be the cause ?

    Hi,
    I have just had a Hoover VHV380 repaired under warranty. As it is an autosense drier it monitors the components for the first run of the cycle, before starting the main programme. The one I had then aborted and the heater turned out to be open circuit, so I guess that is probably your problem. Hope that helps,
