Hoover VHV380-80 Service Manual

Hi guys.

I have a Hoover VHV380-80.

No matter whether you select sensor dry or timed dry the dryer only runs for 3 minutes, it then beeps and stops but the start light remains lit.

How do these dryers sense that the clothes are dry and does anybody have a service manual please or any suggestions as to how I can get one.

wait for a period of about 5 mins to see if it starts up in the same direction again… if it does, you need a module repair.

I had a similar Hoover machine on Friday doing the same, removed and checked main board and connections refitted and test machine OK. Had a voicemail on Sunday afternoon to say was faulty again so ordered up another board, replaced board and still the same – turned out that the motor capacitor was faulty so replaced and working OK.
