Hoover vhv680c condensor dryer

This one is running for ten mins then just shuts down with all lights flashing. I found a previous post raising the same question, but there were no replies. Does anyone have the answer now please?

well i could be wrong but ive lately had a couple of these where the wires on the door lock switch were burnt out. it could be that yours is nearly but not quite burnt through but is eventually breaking down under the heater load.

Hi

Ive got to look at one of these machines tommorow,with the same fault as described.
I was just wondering if the interlock is easy to get at? and are these machines the welded cabinet type, where everything is only accesible from the front…

Update

Turned out it was a very badly overheated heater assembly, so got new one on order
