Hoover VHV781C Dryer E15 Error Code

Hi

I have a Hoover VHV781C-80 vented dryer. it’s about 2 years old and has had very little use.

It’s starting coming up with an E15 error code after a few mins of running. The vent hose was pretty blocked so cleaned this and all the vent assy in the machine. Also replaced the front TOC and checked all the wiring and connectors to the board. It seems to draw cool air and blow it out of the vent warm.I’ve also given the relays on the PCB a ‘tap’ or two.

When the E15 code kicks in I’ve noticed the stat (one with the green mark) on the top of the heater panel has gone O/C. i can hear it click and go closed after a couple of mins.

I’m assuming (but could be wrong) it’s an overheat issue ? Anyone have any ideas.

Seems a shame to condemn such a new machine.
