Hoover VHW6540-80 door locks but lock light flashes

Had a call to fit door seal supplied by customer to the above machine.

Fitted door seal and tested.

Called back a couple of days later, user said the machine worked OK for first wash, second wash it only half drained and now not draining at all.
When I returned the machine refused to start, the door locks and the door lock light flashes continually.
No error is shown on the display.

I found the drain pump was blocked with scale. Apparently the machine had not been used for about 6 weeks before I fitted the door seal. I assume the scaled had dried and contracted then come away from the drum during the following washes blocking the filter.

I drained the machine and cleared the blockage but can not get the machine to run. There are no earth faults and the door interlock checks out OK.

Is the door locking and the machine not running a recognised fault on these machines/PCB’s?
