Got a call coming up with one of the vision range, not seen a lot of these in my neck of the woods. The customer has told me that it washes alright but if you go to the stop it it wont turn off and the door security light will not go out, she says she has taken the plug out and left it all day but when plugged back in the door light still comes on.
Any pointers ?

Not sure why she would want to stop it during a cycle or how but is she actually setting the selector switch to off or just hitting the pause button?
Assuming the former then either the 12way Selector S/w or the Door Interlock may be at fault here I would think. Interlocks on these normally just go dead though as a rule so wouldn’t think it was the latter. But its made by the Candyman after all said and done so anythings possible. 😉

Well I have yet to find that info out Martin, these Candy Vison appliances seem to have a lot of wierd faults, the last one I went out to the power module had gone bang ! bloody great big expensive thing in the bottom left hand side !

Well at least with this brand you only need ‘The Vision’ whereas with Zanussi you need to ‘land on another planet’. With Indesit you need to ‘jump over the moon’ in order to succeed. And with Haier all you need is an empty skip!
