    Help would be appreciated 🙂

    On switching power on and selecting start, motor hums but drum not rotating, although manual drum does rotate freely by hand.
    Any ideas on possible cause and resolution? Do you need more information to isolate possible problems?

    The motors capacitor needs replacing.

    8uf usually. The rating is stamped on the side anyway.
