Hoover VTS 712D21-80

Hi Hope someone can help

I have a Hoover VTS 712D21 washing machine that is causing me issues,

When I select a programme in this case I’ll use the spin programme as the example, the display will show the time left and it will go through the following the door will lock the pump will pump out and then the drum will spin I then hear a click sound and the display goes blank and everything stops then after a few seconds it comes back on then keeps doing this until I turn it off, I have checked the motor, bushes are good and it meters out ok, I’ve also sent the main board of for repair as thought it was the problem it has been tested and no faults where found, I’m a bit lost as to what is causing this problem.

Any help would be appreciated 😀

It could be a very small leak to earth of the heating element.
