I have looked at the above Washer/Dryer and found I am not getting a live supply to the dryer elements.

The fan runs and inlet valve operates correctly.
When I cancel the drying cycle the fan continues to run until I turn the machine off.

There is no insulation fault and no sign of damage to the PCB.

Has anyone come across this problem before?

I am assuming it is a faulty PCB but would like to try and confirm it first.

    Thanks.

Has the safety ‘stats clicked out? There are usually 2 on most Hoover w/d’s. They are the ‘stats on top of the heater chamber with a beige centre button; press down and a ‘click’ will be heard. If so, you should now have power to the heaters. If these ‘stats’ have tripped, then the condenser at the back will need cleaning out; especially the little right angled hose at the bottom.. Fun job!!
If still no power, drier sensor PCB is at the back on the floor of the machine. Check that and the Cuore board for solder dry joints and poor edge connections (clean and refit).

    Hope that helps!!

    Steve.

I forgot to include it in the original post.
Both stats had tripped so I reset them but still didn’t get a live to the element or stats which I thought was odd.
I missed the board on the floor at the back, I checked the PCB mounted to the right in the top of the cabinet.
I will go back and take a look at the other PCB.
    Thanks.

Returned and checked the PCB in the back. The tops of the capacitors have rounded and there are signs of overheating that looks like the culprit.

    Thanks again for your help.
